Chorleywood Community Arts Centre
C. C. A. C. exists to provide a meeting place for the practice of a wide range of arts and crafts.
The Arts Centre is situated at the top of Colley Land, facing the Common. The building, which is an old Methodist Chapel, has been imaginatively converted to make use of the space available, and is well equipped.
The Centre is a self-funding organisation and owns and maintains the building, which has recently been upgraded.
All members are encouraged to participate in the running of the Centre, even in a small way.
The majority of the activities are of a workshop nature, offering facilities, equipment, shared cost of materials and friendly informal help. In most groups the ’teachers’ are fellow members.
Both beginners and those more advanced are very welcome. Most groups meet once a week throughout the year.
The centre is used by the Quakers for their Sunday morning meetings.
